OBITUARY

HELEN STALLARD

We have some very sad news to share that will affect our bowls community far and wide.

Our lovely colleague and dear friend Helen Stallard has passed away.

Many of you know Helen through her event management, umpiring, or perhaps Indoor Bowls, as an on-green Director for her husband David, as an International Technical Official at the Commonwealth Games, or maybe through her accounting role at Bowls New Zealand (including Treasurer of IBBA - DJS).

We are utterly devastated for Helens’s family to lose her and also for the entire bowls community who have had many years working alongside her. Her wonderful laugh and dry sense of humour were distinctly “Helen” and in addition to being pragmatic about pretty much everything, she was kind and caring and we will miss her every day.

Our thoughts are with David and the entire family as they privately farewell their very special wife, mother and grandmother.

Rest in Peace Helen.
